If this examination reveals that the puppy is in ill health, the buyer may return the puppy, with a signed veterinary certificate, within 72 hours of purchase for a replacement puppy of same value or a refund less 200.00 deposit or other costs of holding puppy for the 2 week quarantine . *Hereditary defects do not include communicable diseases that could be prevented by vaccinations (parvo, distemper, etc...). Shih Tzu puppies commonly snore, snort, sniffle or bubble. These symptoms are of no cause for concern if the nasal discharge is clear and the pup seems happy. When a puppy is teething these symptoms may increase. Pinched nostrils normally correct themselves as the pup matures. We do not guarantee puppies against umbilical hernias, pinched nostrils, retained testicles or hypoglycemia. Should medical reports disagree, a neutral third veterinarian shall be called upon to settle the dispute. It is further agreed the seller will furnish informational material concerning the proper care of this Shih Tzu, and will be available for LIFETIME consultation on all aspects of caring for this Shih Tzu. It is further agreed that the buyer will assume the responsibility of providing proper living conditions and health care for said Shih Tzu puppy. This puppy is to live indoors as a family pet. It is understood, for the purpose of this contract, that keeping this dog tied outdoors, or keeping this dog outdoors rather than indoors as a family pet, will be considered neglect. Substantiated evidence of neglect or abuse will be justified cause for the breeder to re-possess this Shih Tzu, and the buyer agrees to give up this dog on demand, for which no refund will be given. It is further agreed that in the event the buyer no longer wishes to keep this dog, the buyer gives the seller the right of first refusal to buy, with a negotiated refund depending on the age and condition of the dog, and not to exceed the original purchase price of this pet. Seller will accept the return of the dog at any age. No refund will be given if buyer chooses not to keep animal because of any reason other than temperament or health, and with both must be a notarized statement , accompanied with vet statement that animal’s health is due to breeding or temperament is no good due to breeding. in such cases Nanuke will hold animal for further evaluation then decide on refund action. It is further agreed that neither this dog, nor any get resulting from any breeding, will be sold bartered, or given to any owner, employee, or agent connected with a Pet Shop, or to any Broker of dogs (one who acquires one or more dogs or litters for the sole purpose of resale.) In the event the buyer completes such a transaction, the seller of this dog shall have recourse through the courts for damage to her kennel name in the amount of $1,000.00, with all legal fees involved to be the responsibility of the individual in violation of this contact.
