| we have had jewel for a while now she came to us at 6 months old, her story goes like this We got a call about a rottie pup that was going to be used to bait pits for a fight that week. For those of you that don't know what that means its when something is used to tease a dog to get it ready for a fight in this case pitbulls. we have already heard that a few cats and rabbits where used at this same park for bait in some fights. We got a few friends together and went to the park. When we got there was this guy with a rottie pup and was going to bait the pit for the next fight at this moment for those asking "why didn't you call the cops" there wasn't a point for calling the cops because by the time they got there the pup would have been dead and they would have ran. so Paul says to the guy holding the pup since you don't want that pup give it to me the guy says no way, Paul says why not your going to get it killed so give the dog away, the guy didn't know Paul but a few people there did and those that did know Paul knew that Paul doesn't play games. so Paul says OK i will tell you what why don't we fight for it the guy was like WHAT???? paul says yea why don't we fight for it if i beat you i get that dog and if you win you are known in the city that you kicked Costa's ass. all the people that where there say to the guy" you don't want to play Costa can fight" so said so which one of you punks want to be the bait for this fight a few of the people that knew us walked away and the guy with the pup looked around and found him self standing in the middle of a fight ring with this rottie pup in his arms and surrounded by a couple of animal lovers with a real bad attitude. so he says listen i don't want any trouble hands Paul the puppy and till today there hasn't been a dog fight by those people. so that's how jewel came to live with her new family. you know what the funny part of this story was..... the dog was named courage poor little girl she was a mess hated everything and everyone was scared of her shadow. skinning, sick. look at her now. a fat queen of the world. |
